Lot 964: A Pair of Framed Calvin and Hobbes Comic Strip Collections
A pair of matching black-framed displays containing multiple black and white Calvin and Hobbes comic strips by Bill Watterson. Each frame features fourteen individual comic strips arranged in two vertical columns, totalling twenty-eight strips across the lot. The strips depict various scenes and storylines featuring the characters Calvin, Hobbes, and Calvin’s parents. The strips are printed on paper and mounted onto a cream-coloured backing board. The printed signature WATTERSON is visible within the artwork of several strips. Modern auction labels for HCP Auctions South West Lot 964 are adhered to the glass of both frames.
