Lot 69: Large Ovoid Form Matte Ceramic Floor Vessel
A large-scale decorative floor vessel of ovoid form, constructed from heavy ceramic, likely earthenware or stoneware. The piece features a bulbous body tapering to a narrow base, with a short neck and a broad, flattened rim. It is finished in a monochrome matte pale pink to off-white glaze. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are present on the exterior. The vessel bears a modern paper auction label for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 069. The exterior surface displays irregular blue pigment markings and streaks, particularly to the upper shoulder on one side, which appear to be incidental industrial markings.
