Lot 58: A Set of Six Irwin Marples Splitproof Bevel-Edged Wood Chisels in Wooden Case
A professional-grade set of six bevel-edged woodworking chisels manufactured by Irwin Marples. Each chisel features a forged steel blade and a distinctive bi-colour polypropylene handle in red and transparent yellow, designed for durability and impact resistance when used with a mallet. The steel blades are stamped with the manufacturer mark IRWIN Marples and include size designations in both metric and imperial units, such as 10mm 3/8 and 25mm 1. The handles are embossed with the Marples name. The collection is housed in a fitted light-coloured wooden presentation case with internal dividers and brass-tone hardware. The interior lid features a handwritten label on green masking tape reading 7290 FULL CHISEL SET.
