Lot 97: An Assortment of Wood Screws and Nylon Wall Plugs in a Metal Trade Case
This professional hardware assortment is housed in a robust blue metal storage case, identified by the lid label as a Trade Case Woodscrew & Wall Plug Assortment. The collection originally contained approximately 1900 pieces of yellow zinc-plated wood screws and nylon wall plugs. The screws are manufactured from heat-treated and case-hardened steel with a twin-thread design for efficiency. The assortment is organised into removable black plastic compartments and includes various sizes as specified on the internal lid chart: wood screws in Gauge 6 (3.5 x 20mm, 3.5 x 25mm), Gauge 8 (4.2 x 25mm, 4.2 x 30mm, 4.2 x 40mm, 4.2 x 50mm), and Gauge 10 (5 x 50mm, 5 x 70mm), alongside nylon wall plugs in sizes No. 5, 6, 8, and 10. The blue metal carry case is fitted with a central handle and two front securing latches. A manufacturer’s logo is present on the top left of the label, partially obscured by a green price sticker.
