Lot 117: A Vintage Two-Drawer Metal Vertical Filing Cabinet
A utilitarian two-drawer vertical filing cabinet of metal construction, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The unit is finished in a matte black paint, which appears to have been applied over an earlier red coating, now visible through areas of surface wear. Each drawer is fitted with a cream-coloured C-scroll handle and a corresponding rectangular metal label holder. The interiors of the drawers are finished in a neutral grey-brown tone. The unit is designed for vertical document storage and features standard drawer runners. No manufacturer labels or maker’s marks were observed. Dimensions: Standard two-drawer filing cabinet size.
