Lot 118: A Vintage Cream Enamelled Paraffin Heater
A vintage cylindrical portable paraffin heater, likely of mid-20th-century manufacture. The unit features a tall central column finished in cream-coloured vitreous enamel, crowned with a circular vented top plate. The design incorporates a series of ventilation slots around the upper and lower sections of the main body. The heater is mounted on a flared circular pedestal base which contains the fuel reservoir. A red adjustment control knob is located at the base, alongside a circular metal guard rail. Two paper auction lot stickers are adhered to the enamel casing. The form is characteristic of paraffin heaters produced by firms such as Valor or Perfection.
