Lot 160: A Collection of Vintage DIY Paints, Varnishes, and Metal Finishes
This lot comprises a collection of vintage DIY paints, varnishes, and metal finishes from various manufacturers. Included in the group is a tin of Dulux Non-Drip Varnish in a Rich Mahogany shade with an interior satin finish. There is a tin of Blackfriar Polyurethane Stained Varnish in a P90 Sapele Shade with a high gloss finish, bearing a vintage Gateway price sticker. The collection also contains a tin of Finnigans Smoothrike smooth metal finish in white, showing a price sticker from The Plymstock Hardware Centre, and a tin of Hammerite smooth metal finish paint. Several other partially labelled or unlabelled metal tins and a small bottle with a blue screw cap are included. The items are housed in a blue plastic crate. The tins appear to be in standard 250ml and 500ml sizes.
