Lot 260: Attributed to Ethan Allen Old Tavern Pine Bedside Chest
A pine bedside chest or nightstand, attributed to the Ethan Allen Old Tavern collection, dating from the late 20th century. The unit is constructed from solid pine with a medium-toned antiqued finish and prominent knots. It features an open upper storage compartment and a single full-width drawer at the base. The front face is decorated with an incised geometric fretwork border in a Greek key pattern, which surrounds both the open niche and the drawer front. The drawer is fitted with two turned wooden knobs. The piece is finished with a simple plinth base.
