Lot 272: Scalextric Beetle Cup 1:32 Scale Slot Car Racing Set
Scalextric Beetle Cup slot car racing set produced by Hornby Hobbies. This 1:32 scale analogue racing set is themed around the Volkswagen New Beetle one-make racing series, featuring box art depicting a yellow No. 17 car and a green No. 18 car with corresponding Cup liveries. The set comprises various black plastic track sections including curves and straights, a power intake track section, and two black trigger-style hand controllers. Included documentation consists of an original manual titled Scalextric Instructions for Sets on Circuit 2 and promotional flyers. The components are stored within a white polystyrene inner tray and the original illustrated cardboard box. Please note that the two Volkswagen Beetle slot cars are not visible within the internal photograph provided.
