Lot 290: A Pair of Mid-20th Century Style Gold-Tone Metal Baluster Table Lamps
A pair of vintage table lamps of tapered baluster form, constructed from gold-tone metal and resting on circular stepped bases. The lamps are designed in the Hollywood Regency style and are each fitted with a matching pale seafoam green conical shade. The shades feature gold-tone metal rims to the top and bottom edges. Both lamps are wired with white cords terminating in standard UK three-pin plugs. One lamp is currently fitted with a compact fluorescent light bulb. A small white adhesive label marked 190 or L90 is visible on one base, appearing to be a temporary inventory or lotting mark. There are no maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures visible on the exterior of the lamps or shades.
