Lot 299: A Collection of Mixed Domestic Ceramics, Woven Placemats, and Decorative Household Items
This lot comprises a variety of household goods including ceramic tablewares, decorative items, and woven table mats. The ceramic portion features a stack of dinner plates, the top of which is white with a floral transfer-printed pattern showing lilies and a floral border, in a style resembling designs by LoveShackFancy or International China. Below this is a stoneware plate with a stylized mid-century foliate pattern in brown, green, and orange tones. The lot also includes a light blue bowl with white spots, a pink ceramic dish, and a white ceramic form of irregular shape. Accompanying these are a clear glass vessel and several artificial floral stems such as daffodils and forsythia. The group is completed by a set of rectangular woven placemats made from natural fibres with a concentric coiled construction. No visible maker’s marks or stamps were identified.
