Lot 349: A Ferguson Vintage Record Player and a Collection of Vinyl Records
A vintage Ferguson record player unit featuring a silver-toned control panel located to the right of the platter. The interface includes four rotary knobs for the adjustment of volume, balance, treble, and bass, alongside a red power indicator lamp and a front-mounted DIN tape socket. The unit is constructed with a dark plinth and is fitted with a smoked plastic hinged dust cover. The platter design includes a strobe-patterned edge. A UK three-pin power cable and plug are included, currently stored under the dust cover. Accompanying the player is an assortment of vinyl records, including approximately fifteen 12-inch LPs and one 7-inch single. Identifiable titles include the soundtrack for the musical Chess and a compilation titled We Wish You a Merry Christmas. The 7-inch single is housed in a Regal Best Sellers paper sleeve and features a blue label with silver print.
