This Scalextric slot car racing set, themed after the Le Mans 24hr endurance race, features a pair of 1:32 scale Porsche 911 GT1 racing cars. The first car is finished in a red livery, bearing racing number 22 and sponsorship decals for Westminster, Lusfina, and Pirelli. The second car is in a white livery, carrying racing number 28 and sponsorship for Giesse, Emmegi, Westminster, and Pirelli. The set is constructed primarily from injection-moulded plastic with metal components for the electrical contact rails and car pickups. The track comprises an assortment of curved and straight sections, including a dedicated power base section marked Power Base. Also included are two black plastic hand-held speed controllers and a collection of grey plastic bridge supports. The set is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box with the Scalextric logo and Le Mans 24hr title, containing a white polystyrene inner storage tray.
