This lot features three diverse decorative home accessories. The first item is a large contemporary floor vase of ovoid or cocoon form, finished in a smooth satin black over a ceramic or lacquered body. The second item is a red wax pillar candle resting upon a black-painted metal plate stand, which is designed with a simple circular base and a scrolled handle support. The third item is a set of coasters housed in a matching open-fronted wooden holder. Both the coasters and the holder are decorated with intricate, raised hand-painted foliate and scrollwork patterns in a traditional Indian style, featuring a colour palette of deep red, green, and ochre gold tones.
