Lot 484: A Collection of Crystal and Glass Animal-Themed Decorative Figurines
This collection consists of various clear glass and crystal decorative objects, primarily featuring animal subjects. The group includes several moulded glass elephant figurines, featuring two larger examples—one with a hollowed back—and two smaller figures in walking poses. Also included are two rectangular crystal blocks with interior-etched animal designs, one of which depicts a deer, and a circular crystal medallion featuring an etched scene of a deer in a wooded landscape. Additional pieces comprise a small clear crystal cube, a decorative figure group of birds mounted on a circular mirrored base, and a flat rectangular glass plaque featuring multiple etched animal figures. The items are manufactured from a combination of moulded glass and etched lead crystal. Some items in the collection are reminiscent of designs by Princess House and the Franklin Mint, though no maker’s marks, signatures, or model numbers are visible on the pieces. One item bears a white auction lot sticker numbered 484.
