Lot 581: A Vintage Hooked Textile Wall Hanging and a Glass Carboy
A lot comprising a vintage latch-hooked wool textile wall hanging and a large clear glass carboy. The vertical rectangular textile depicts a stylized figure in traditional costume, including a tall patterned headdress and a long multi-coloured robe, worked in a palette of forest green, burnt orange, ochre, brown, and cream yarn on a canvas backing. It is fitted with a metal hanging ring at the top for suspension. The glass carboy is of cylindrical form with a tapering neck and a small integral loop handle.
