Lot 601: Two Art Deco Smiths Sectric electric mantel clocks
Two mid-20th-century Smiths Sectric synchronous electric mantel clocks. The first clock is housed in a dark-stained wooden case with chamfered top corners and a stepped base, featuring a square cream-coloured dial with black Arabic numerals, a rail-track minute ring, and a square chrome-plated bezel. It includes a small circular power indicator aperture above the 6 o’clock position. The second clock has an upright rectangular dark wood case with a moulded top and stepped base, containing a circular silvered dial with black Arabic numerals and a round chrome-plated bezel. This dial features an arched status indicator aperture. Both dials are marked Smith Sectric and Made in England. Dimensions: 15cm – 20cm width (estimated).
