Lot 621: A Collection of Cut Crystal and Etched Glass Decanters and Ceramic Cup and Saucer Sets
An assortment of glassware and ceramics comprising several decanters and cup and saucer sets. The glassware includes a heavy lead crystal spirit decanter of rectangular form, decorated with deep-cut geometric motifs and large starburst designs, fitted with a multi-faceted ball stopper. A clear glass mallet-form decanter features an etched depiction of a two-masted sailing ship under full sail, complete with a flat circular stopper with a silver-toned metal mount. The third decanter is of bulbous form with a diamond-cut body and a faceted ball stopper. The ceramic components include a porcelain cup and saucer set featuring a sage green glaze and gilded stylized floral sprays. A further cup and saucer are fashioned from pale blue opalescent glass with a gilded rim and scroll handle. The items are accompanied by an auction lot tag reading Lot 621 from Auctions South West.
