Lot 701: An Early 20th-Century Mahogany Scalloped-Top Occasional Table
An early 20th-century mahogany occasional table, likely dating from the Edwardian or George V era. The table features an oval top with a prominent scalloped or lobed edge. It is supported by four slender cabriole legs that are joined by a conforming lower tier shelf with a matching scalloped profile. The piece is constructed from mahogany with a dark-stained finish. Two modern auction labels are present: one on the tabletop printed with Lot 701 and a second label on the side apron for HCP Auctions South West, also marked Lot 701. No original maker marks or stamps are visible.
