Lot 727: A Collection of Cut Lead Crystal Glassware including Decanters and Serving Pieces
An assortment of wheel-cut lead crystal glassware. The collection features a ship’s decanter with a wide conical base and vertical fluted neck, complete with a faceted round stopper. Also included are two square-bodied spirit decanters with matching square faceted stoppers, decorated with geometric diamond and starburst patterns. Serving items comprise a large circular bowl with deep geometric cutting, a circular footed cake stand or tazza featuring a large central star motif, and a small bowl with a matching underplate. Decorative and small wares include a small globular vase with a polished silver-plated collar and three assorted small circular bowls or dishes. The pieces display a variety of classic deeply-cut patterns including diamond-point, cross-hatching, and fans. One item bears an auction label for HCP Auctions South West, lot 727.
