Lot 752: Vintage Upholstered Chair with Single Vintage Lady and the Unicorn Tapestry Cushion
This lot comprises a vintage upholstered seating unit and a decorative tapestry throw cushion. The square cushion features a woven jacquard front depicting a scene inspired by the 15th-century Lady and the Unicorn tapestry series, specifically featuring the lady flanked by a lion and a unicorn against a red millefleurs background. The seating unit features two contrasting fabrics: the upper portion is upholstered in a neutral light-coloured textured fabric with a diagonal twill weave, and the seat section is finished in a yellow and blue horizontal striped fabric with button tufting. A small pink adhesive label with the handwritten number 32 is present on the upper upholstery. Cushion: 46cm x 46cm.
