Lot 762: A Victorian Stained Pine Chest of Drawers
A late Victorian utility chest of drawers of straight front form, constructed from stained pine. The carcass features a two-over-three drawer configuration, consisting of two short drawers above three full-width graduated long drawers. The chest is topped with a solid wood surface finished with a rounded bullnose edge and is raised on a plinth base with shaped bracket feet. Each drawer is fitted with turned wooden knobs and a central inset keyhole. The drawer fronts feature simple moulded edges.
