Lot 64: Precision Manual Mitre Saw and Mitre Box Unit
This lot comprises a manual precision mitre saw unit designed for accurate angled cutting in wood and light materials. The assembly consists of a mitre box base made from blue-painted cast metal, which is mounted on a rectangular wooden baseboard. The base features an adjustable angle scale with preset detents for standard mitre angles. The saw is held in a pivoting guide system mounted on twin cylindrical steel rods. Included with the unit is a coordinating backsaw, featuring a blue moulded handle and a steel blade.
