Lot 93: A Luke Young Shapes 6ft 2in Shortboard Surfboard
A used shortboard surfboard shaped by Luke Young. The board is constructed from traditional polyurethane foam with a central wooden stringer and a fibreglass and polyester resin finish. The shape features a pointed nose, a subtle rocker profile, and a squash tail. The deck is fitted with a black and white Creatures of Leisure traction pad near the tail. The underside features a five-fin FCS plug system, currently configured with three black composite fins as a thruster set-up. Branding for Luke Young Shapes is located on the rails and the underside, with a smaller star logo containing the letters LY present on both the deck and bottom. Handwritten dimensions are visible on the underside along the stringer near the tail.
