Lot 161: A Collection of Vintage GKN Nettlefolds and Thorsmans Boxed Hardware Fasteners
An assortment of vintage boxed hardware fasteners, primarily comprising GKN Nettlefolds wood screws and Thorsmans cable clips. The GKN packaging features the manufacturer’s mid-century blue and white repeating diamond pattern with stylized GKN logos. Visible text on the box edges includes Nettlefolds, Wood, and Made in England. The lot includes a green Thorsmans box containing fasteners, marked Clips and Stiftschellen. The collection is housed in two yellow plastic utility buckets with metal bail handles. The items bear a white adhesive auction label for Lot 161 from HCP Auctions South West and a secondary handwritten label marked 5768. The lot contains a large volume of original British industrial period stock.
