Lot 176: A Collection of Wooden Garden Birdhouses and Nesting Boxes
A group of wooden garden birdhouses and nesting boxes of various designs. The collection includes a rustic pent-roof nesting box made from weathered natural wood, featuring a yellow circular entrance guard secured with screws. Another pent-roof birdhouse is finished in white paint and decorated with printed motifs of blue dragonflies, bumblebees, and lavender stalks, with a white circular surround at the entrance. The assortment also contains matching white-painted wooden boxes with grey-painted sloped roofs, featuring circular wooden swivel covers that pivot on a single screw to adjust the entrance opening. One of these boxes retains a rusted metal latch. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the items.
