Lot 195: Silver Cross Vintage Baby Pram with Folding Chassis and Assorted Textiles
A vintage British-made baby pram manufactured by Silver Cross, featuring a navy blue fabric carriage body and a matching adjustable hood. The pram is constructed with a chrome-plated folding X-frame chassis and includes a snap-on fabric apron. The interior of the carriage is lined with a blue and white floral patterned fabric. The chassis is equipped with a wire mesh under-seat storage basket and four wire-spoked wheels fitted with off-white rubber tyres. The handle is finished with a black ribbed grip. A chrome-finish nameplate bearing the Silver Cross script logo is fixed to the side of the body.
The pram contains an assortment of textile items including a red, green, and gold-thread tartan blanket; a Devaro designer furnishing throw in handloomed cotton; several cream-coloured linens with lace, crochet, and embroidered detailing; and a white quilted base pad. One textile item bears a manufacturer label for Devaro designer furnishings.
