Lot 247: A Cast Stone Garden Statue of a Young Vintner
A weathered cast stone garden statue depicting a young harvester or vintner, portrayed in rustic attire. The figure wears a broad-brimmed hat, a buttoned tunic with rolled sleeves, and trousers, and is depicted holding a basket filled with grapes against his left hip. The statue stands on an integral, rustic rectangular base and is constructed from reconstituted stone with a moulded finish. This piece reflects the classic garden statuary style of the early to mid-20th century.
