Lot 356: An Assortment of Electrical Cables and Wire Reels
An assortment of electrical cable and wire reels, including various gauges and types of wire such as single-core conduit wire and multi-strand PVC insulated cable. The lot consists of reels made from wood, cardboard, and plastic. Visible insulation colours include yellow, orange, black, white, grey, purple, blue, and a black and orange striped pattern. One reel features a red and yellow label with the RS logo and is marked Made in U.K. Several reels bear labels with BASEC (British Approvals Service for Cables) certification, UKAS accreditation marks, and CE marking. Specific technical markings on labels include 6491 X, 2.0 mm, and BASEC 03/07/03. One orange reel is handwritten with PVC INS 2.47mm/sq. The collection is housed in a large cardboard box marked in blue ink with 7290, CABLES, and WIRES, and bears a lot sticker for HCP Auctions South West numbered 356.
