Lot 403: Scalextric Beetle Cup Slot Car Racing Set
A vintage Scalextric Beetle Cup slot car racing set manufactured by Hornby. The set is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box with a moulded polystyrene interior. Included components comprise black plastic curved and straight track sections with metal rails, a powerbase track piece with yellow lettering, two black plastic hand controllers, and a 12V mains power transformer. Printed materials include the original instructions for Circuit 2 and various promotional ephemera. The box artwork features two Volkswagen Beetles: No. 17 in yellow and No. 18 in green.
