Lot 411: A Set of Chinese Export Porcelain Coffee Ware
A porcelain coffee service comprising a tall lidded pot, a creamer, and five matching cups. The pieces are decorated with a transfer-printed mid-century modern style geometric pattern featuring symmetrical floral medallions in ochre, chocolate brown, and mustard yellow within rectangular panels. The design is accented by black borders and horizontal line motifs, with gold-toned gilt bands to the rims. The coffee pot features a long, curved spout and a matching lid with a central knob. Each piece is marked on the underside with a circular blue underglaze backstamp containing Chinese characters and the text MADE IN CHINA.
