Lot 420: An Assortment of Household Ceramics and Glassware including International China Surrey Pattern Plates
A collection of assorted household items featuring ceramic tableware, glassware, and decorative objects. The primary items include a stack of plates, the uppermost being a white glazed earthenware dinner plate in the Surrey pattern by International China. This plate is decorated with a central multi-coloured floral transfer print depicting a cluster of pansies and violets, surrounded by a scalloped rim with pink floral sprays and an inner border of ochre-coloured foliate scrolls. The lot also contains a stack of white ceramic bowls with a light blue band and dark blue line at the rim, a small circular dish finished in a pastel pink glaze, and a white leaf-form decorative dish. Glassware comprises a clear cylindrical tumbler with an etched floral motif and a clear glass vase containing artificial yellow flowers. A large artificial yellow daffodil-style bloom and a dark rectangular composite object are also included. The collection is accompanied by a woven natural fibre basket featuring a distinctive chevron or herringbone weave pattern.
