Lot 456: A Collection of Decorative Glassware, Ceramics, and Miscellaneous Collectibles
An assortment of decorative and household items. The glassware includes a cut-glass decanter with traditional diamond and wedge cutting, a large circular clear glass bowl, and several smaller pressed or cut-glass dishes. The ceramic portion of the collection includes a commemorative earthenware mug for the 1982 birth of H.R.H. Prince William of Wales, featuring floral decoration and blue and pink accents. A second mug is decorated with the Royal Coat of Arms including the Garter motto Honi soit qui mal y pense and the royal motto Dieu et mon droit. Also present is a small Chinese porcelain dish decorated with characters for longevity and fortune on a yellow ground with a Greek key border, and a stack of multi-coloured glazed saucers. The lot features a boxed set of black professional castanets by Artesania Española, labelled Modelo 121. Further items include two large, intricately carved decorative pillar candles in green and pink wax, a small painted wooden box with a sliding lid, a solar-powered bird figurine, and a small porcelain angel figurine. The items are contained within two cardboard shipping boxes.
