Lot 476: A Pair of 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles by Gibsons and Corner Piece
Two 1000-piece cardboard jigsaw puzzles featuring nostalgic retail shop interiors. The first puzzle, titled Herbert’s Hardware, is produced by Gibsons and features artwork by Steve Crisp. The scene depicts a traditional British ironmonger’s shop filled with various household goods, tools, and period-appropriate signage. The box is printed with the Gibsons logo, the artist’s name, and the statement Proudly Entertaining Generations. The second puzzle, titled Vintage Toy Shop, is manufactured by Corner Piece Puzzles. The illustration shows a traditional toy store interior stocked with classic games, dolls, and models. Both puzzles are constructed from printed cardboard.
