Lot 498: A Collection of Vintage Advertising Tins, Household Items, and Novelties including a Rowenta Travel Iron and Cardinal Dominoes Set
A collection of vintage household, gaming, and decorative objects. The lot features a Rowenta traveller collapsible automatic dry iron, housed in its original printed cardboard box bearing the manufacturer mark Erke Gmbh – D-6050 Offenbach (Main) and marked as printed in West Germany. Included is a Cardinal Collectors Dominoes tin for a double six jumbo colour dot set. The advertising tins consist of a commemorative 75 Years of OXO Diamond Jubilee tin dated 1910-1985 and a rectangular tin modelled as a London General bus with printed advertisements for Colman’s Mustard, Bird’s Custard, and Robin Starch.
