Lot 559: Two Decorative Items Comprising a Wrought Iron Hurricane Lamp and a Leaded Glass Wall Terrarium
This lot features two decorative metal and glass pieces. The first is a decorative hurricane-style candle holder on a stand. It consists of a fluted clear glass vessel with a flared rim, seated within a dark-finished metal frame. This frame is decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and stands on three scrolled metal feet. Faceted clear glass lustre droplets are suspended by wire from the rim of the frame. The second item is a leaded glass terrarium or hanging display of hexagonal form. It is constructed from clear glass panels joined by dark metal cames. The unit features a flat back with a metal hanging hook at the top and one open face for access.
