Lot 621: A Group of Fifteen Ceramic Tableware Pieces including Johnson Brothers Autumn Song and Neoclassical Emerald Green Porcelain
A collection of fifteen porcelain and ironstone tableware pieces featuring two distinct decorative patterns. The first group consists of eleven pieces from the Johnson Brothers Snowhite Ironstone range in the Autumn Song pattern. These items are characterised by a white ground decorated with transfer-printed stylised wheat stalks in blue and gold-tone, accompanied by small blue floral sprays. This group includes five tea cups, one lidded sugar bowl, one cream jug, one large circular platter, one large shallow bowl, one luncheon plate, and one saucer.
The second group comprises four pieces of neoclassical style demitasse tableware. These pieces feature a rich emerald green ground with white and gold-tone transfer-printed decoration depicting scrolling acanthus leaves and cherub figures. This set includes two demitasse cups and two matching saucers.
