Lot 660: A Collection of Vintage Fishing Tackle including a Penn Peer No. 209 Multiplier Reel
A collection of vintage fishing tackle including a Penn Peer No. 209 level wind multiplier reel and a fly fishing reel. The Penn Peer No. 209 reel is constructed with red side plates and chrome-plated metalwork, featuring a star drag and wing-nut side plate fixings, currently spooled with turquoise monofilament line. Also included is a red-finished fly fishing reel with a perforated metal spool, housed in a matching red plastic shaped storage case. The lot is completed by a spool of Silver Marlin highest quality floating fly line in a clear plastic container. The fly line label specifies the distributor as Zelltrade Ltd., Poole, England, with the line made in the U.S.A., size L-6-F, and length 25 yards.
