Lot 661: A Collection of Gladding Intrepid Prince Regent and Commander Fixed Spool Fishing Reels
A collection of vintage fixed-spool spinning reels manufactured by Gladding under the Intrepid brand. The group includes several examples of the Intrepid Prince Regent model and an Intrepid Commander S-517. The reels are constructed with black-finished housings and chrome-plated components, including bail arms and spool tension knobs. Several spools feature a distinctive three-point star design on the drag adjustment knob. The brand name Gladding, the Intrepid range, and the specific model names are printed on the reel bodies and the original illustrated cardboard boxes. One reel housing also displays a crown symbol and the Prince Regent title.
