Lot 699: 27 Chevron Amethyst Tumbled and Polished Stones
A collection of 27 tumbled and polished chevron amethyst specimens. These stones, also known as banded amethyst, consist of a naturally occurring combination of purple amethyst and white quartz. They are characterised by distinctive V-shaped or zig-zag banding patterns, with colours ranging from pale lilac to deep violet against opaque white quartz layers. Each specimen has been finished to a high-gloss polish. The lot is housed in a clear plastic container with a handwritten identification label.
