Lot 713: A Set of Four Waterford Crystal Brandy Balloons in the Donegal Pattern
A set of four lead crystal brandy balloons produced by Waterford in the Donegal pattern. The hand-cut decoration comprises a central band of diamond-cut cross-hatching with fan motifs. The lower section of each bowl is decorated with a series of large, polished circular thumbprint (punty) cuts. Each glass has a short, plain stem and a circular, undecorated foot. No maker’s marks or signatures were observed during inspection.
