Lot 721: Three Pieces of 19th Century Metalware comprising a Copper Kettle and a Pair of Skimmers
This group of antique metalware consists of a copper kettle and two matching long-handled skimmers. The kettle is of formed copper construction with a visible side seam, featuring a bulbous body and a curved gooseneck spout. It includes a domed lid with a tiered finial and a fixed overhead handle with a tubular copper grip secured by riveted supports. The pair of skimmers features shallow circular copper bowls with decorative hand-punched star pattern perforations. Each bowl is riveted to a long, flat-section wrought iron handle which terminates in a curled hanging hook.

Skimmers length: 40cm – 50cm approximately.
