Lot 735: A Group of Aladdin and Other Glass Lamp Chimneys and Burners
A group of oil lamp components comprising two tapered glass chimneys and two bulbous glass chimneys. One tapered chimney bears a distinctive blue stencil mark for the maker Aladdin. Both tapered chimneys are fitted with metal burner assemblies, constructed from brass or plated metal, one of which contains an intact cone-shaped incandescent mesh mantle. The lot includes one large bulbous chimney and one smaller bulbous chimney, typical of standard kerosene lamp fittings.
