Lot 756: A Collection of Keele Street Pottery Cottage Ware Ceramics and Hobby Items
A collection of Keele Street Pottery cottage ware ceramics, comprising a matching three-piece tea set including a teapot, a twin-handled lidded sugar bowl, and a cream jug, alongside a lidded honey pot in the form of a thatched beehive, a large cottage-form lidded biscuit barrel with a wicker-effect overhead handle and blue-painted base, and a smaller circular cottage-form lidded jar. The ceramic items are constructed from relief-moulded earthenware with polychrome glazes featuring thatched roofs, green foliage, and brown timbered details. Also included in the lot is a boxed Nostalgia series 500-piece jigsaw puzzle featuring a steam locomotive illustration and a selection of model railway track sections and accessories.
