Lot 793: Vintage Winton de luxe Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner
A mid-20th century Winton de luxe cylinder vacuum cleaner. The unit features a mottled pink and maroon enamelled metal canister body with WINTON de luxe printed in maroon serif lettering along the side. The design includes a grey fabric-braided flexible hose attached to a metal intake nozzle. The canister is mounted on metal sled-style runners and is secured with metal latches at either end. The appliance is equipped with two separate grey electrical power cords, each terminated with a UK three-pin plug, one of which is a black bakelite-style plug marked FUSED. A paper auction label from HGP Auctions South West for Lot 793 is adhered to the body.
