Lot 817: A late 20th-century floral damask upholstered scroll-arm armchair
A single upholstered armchair of traditional scroll-arm design. The chair is covered in a patterned damask fabric featuring large-scale floral and foliate motifs interspersed with vertical stripes in a colour palette of faded pink and peach tones on a cream ground. It features a loose square seat cushion and a matching loose back cushion. The internal wooden frame is entirely concealed by the upholstery. The chair stands on wooden feet, with the two front feet fitted with small metal casters. Several illegible labels and tags are attached to the upper back and arm.
