Lot 868: A Pair of Folding Pine Wallpaper Pasting Tables
A pair of utilitarian folding wallpaper pasting tables constructed from pine with hardboard work surfaces. Each unit is designed for portability, featuring a hinged softwood frame with finger-jointed corners for structural integrity. The interior of each board is fitted with diagonal softwood braces secured with screws, intended to provide stability when the tables are unfolded. The frames are equipped with metal hook-and-eye latches on the sides to secure the units when closed for transport. The softwood remains in a natural, unfinished state. One unit retains a stock barcode label marked HWW-01-S, and both units carry contemporary auction house lot stickers for Lot 868 and Lot 869.
