Lot 879: A Vintage Scandinavian Bentwood and Black Leather Two-Piece Lounge Suite
A vintage Scandinavian two-piece lounge suite in a modernist style, comprising a two-seater sofa and a matching armchair. Each piece features prominent, thick bentwood frames constructed from laminated plywood, likely beech or birch, with a natural clear finish. The side panels are designed as continuous sweeping curves that form both the armrests and the base feet. The seating and backrests are upholstered in black leather with fixed cushions. The sofa is a two-seater loveseat with a central vertical seam on both the seat and backrest. A green rectangular fire safety label is attached to the seat of the armchair, bearing a cigarette icon and the text CIGARETTE RESISTANT. A small white adhesive lot label is present on the exterior of the sofa armrest.
