Lot 882: A mid-20th century Jaycee Tudor Revival oak low bookcase
A Jaycee Tudor Revival oak low bookcase or display cabinet of single-piece construction. The rectangular top is set above a decorative frieze featuring a repeating carved lunette and stylised fan motif. Below, two glazed doors house leaded glass panels arranged in a hexagonal lattice pattern. The interior contains two wooden shelves providing three tiers of display space. The piece is fitted with original cast metal butterfly hinges with scrolling decoration and a central metal turn-key latch. The cabinet is supported by short, squared feet.
