Lot 892: Early 20th-Century Jacobean Revival Oak Gate-Leg Dining Table
This Jacobean Revival gate-leg dining table dates from the early 20th century and is constructed from solid oak featuring quartersawn grain. The circular top consists of a central rectangular fixed section and two D-shaped drop leaves, each finished with a carved bead-moulded edge. The table is supported by six barley twist legs, with two functioning as gates, all joined by a square-profile perimeter stretcher. Construction features include mortise and tenon joinery and metal butterfly hinges. The item bears auction labels from HCP Auctions South West for Lot 892 and Lot 903, and a pink circular sticker marked 32.
